The Company Symbol of Barrett Guitars is the Brown Bess Musket. This weapon was the Standard Issue weapon of the British Army for 150 years. Well made, and dependable it was also the preferred weapon of the American Continental Army. The last cantonment of the Continental Army was at Newburgh N.Y. and George Washington made his Headquarters there. Barrett Guitars uses a special “old school” Boiled Linseed Oil preparation on all clear stained guitar bodies. This product provides a beautiful durable finish that brings out the full beauty of the wood and provides for excellent wood tone. This type finish is also used on gun stocks.

-12" neck radius which allows for easier string bending and faster playability

 

-Bone Nuts width of 1-11/16 " -Bone transfers the string vibration a lot better than plastic. It also improves sustain

 

-String Tree Rollers. Rollers reduce string friction for easier tuning.

 

-String Through Body Design- Allows for a more stable bridge due to the strings pulling the bridge to the body. This allows for increased sustain.

 

- Kluson Deluxe Tuners. These tuners are designed with classic features but with performance in mind. Tuners pay attention to the all important winding height which is necessary for the split/top load design of yesterday's 6 on a side tuners.

 

-Dimarzio Area T and Twang King Single Coil Pickups. Made in the USA in New York these pickups reproduce the vintage sound of these iconic designed guitars.
